When: Last Saturday of every month
Where: MCR, 79 Crawford St, Dunedin @ 1pm
Where to: Determined on the day

Shorter rides during winter, longer rides during summer taking in some of the best riding roads greater Otago has to offer

Weekly Southern Rider Night Rides
When: Thursdays around 6:15pm
Where: Southern Tavern. Princes Street. Opposite Oval and the Bus Dept
Where to: Be on the road by 6:30pm.  Decision on the night where to go

During Daylight saving this a weekly ride. During winter dependant on weather.

Waikaia Primary school 2 day adventure ride

2 Days of Unique Adventure Riding in the Waikaia Area. Ride consists of 2 different
loops, starting and finishing in Waikaia on both days.

~ Riders must be; physically fit, experienced and 18 years of age or over.
~ Bikes must be mechanically sound. No ATVs
~ Spark arrester compulsory - NO arrester, NO ride. (fitting charge will apply)

Where: Scroggs hill road, 2km from Brighton on Scroggs Hill Rd, Brighton, Dunedin

OPEN motorcycle trail ride
usual 15km loop track suitable for all juniors with lots of expert tracks along the way plus new additional 15 km loop suitable for intermediate and upwards being a 30 km ride.
ADULT $45.00 entry fee per bike

Host:  Otago Motorcycle Club

Where:  Pigeon Flat Road

When:  8:30 onwards

Sign in 8:30-9:15am, Riders briefing: 9:30am, Riding: 9:45am

Fees: $30 adult, $15 child (up to 16 years), $40 family pass (parent & child)

Each class will get 10 minute rounds on the track.  Separate track for peewees/juniors

The 8-Pass Ride

  • $20.00 per Bike for Off-road or On-road custom Route Sheets.
  • Geraldine has a host of accommodation available from camping ground cabins to luxury motels, so get on-line and book a room before its too late!
  • We have a list of places to try so if you can't find anywhere call.
  • Why not get to Geraldine before 4pm and visit the Vintage Car Museum.
  • We will regroup at the "The Village Inn" restaurant/bar on Talbot Street at 6:00pm on Saturday and make a decision on where we are going to eat from there.
  • A On-Road group of will be leaving the clubrooms at 10.00am Saturday.

  • There is an Adventure Option for this weekend, designed to be enjoyed by all riders whether pillions, solo beginner adventurers, or experienced riders.
    • The planned routes include some spectacular scenery.
    • Route-sheets will be available so that riders can choose their own pace and avoid most of the dust inevitable in the back-blocks.
    • We have a couple of loaner route-sheet holders, but ideally you can make your own. Instructions available - here. Or Ron can build you one also.

Signposted to Table Hill from the 'kink in the road' Main Street Milton
Looped course beginning and ending at Car Park. Advanced and less advanced options
Riders under the age of 12 years must be accompanied on the course by a guardian.
Bikes and ATVs must be mechanically safe. Good Tyres essential.
Registrations from 7.30am. Written Briefing. Tracks open 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Helmets and strong boots compulsory. Spare fuel and cold weather gear essential.

Beaumont Valley Rally

Where:Behind the Beaumont Hotel, Beaumont

When:  Gates open 4pm friday, 9am saturday

Cost:  $30 gate entry on the day p/person, $20 pre-paid (closes 16th April) per person

SOCIAL RIDE: leaves Beaumont at 11am Saturday, travelling to Greenfield Tavern, Clydevale. Fuel
is available at Clydevale. Depart Clydevale and travel to Clinton stopping at Inn, for lunch. Fuel will
also be available. Leave Clinton at 1:30 pm; travel to Forest Lodge, Tapanui, then on to Heriot
stopping at the Heriot Hotel. Heading over the Moa Flat Hill to Ettrick and the Ettrick Tavern and
then travelling east to the Bridge Tavern at Millers Flat back to Beaumont at 4:30pm.
